Privacy Policy

Last updated: 26 August 2026

Growing Gifted (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through growinggifted.com and our newsletter, how we use it, and how you can contact us about it. This policy applies to growinggifted.com and our newsletter only — it does not cover app.growinggifted.com or any other platform, which has its own separate privacy arrangements.

What we collect

  • Newsletter sign-up: your email address, and your name if you provide it.
  • Contact or enquiry emails: whatever you choose to include in your message.
  • Website analytics: standard, aggregate visit data (pages viewed, general location, device type) collected automatically by our hosting and analytics tools. We do not use this to identify you personally.

We do not ask for payment information, health information, or information about your child through the website or newsletter. If you choose to include information about your child in an enquiry — for example, details of an assessment — we treat it with particular care: we use it only to respond to you, we don’t add it to any marketing list, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

How we use it

  • To send the newsletter and respond to enquiries you send us.
  • To understand, in aggregate, how our website is used, so we can improve it.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers we use to run the newsletter and website (who process it only on our behalf, to provide that service).

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in every email, or by emailing us.
  • Request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable time — usually within 5 business days, and at most within 30 days.

Children’s privacy

Our website and newsletter are directed at parents, teachers, and school leaders. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If a parent or teacher shares information about a child with us, we handle it as described above.

Storage and security

Your information is stored using reputable third-party providers (email delivery and hosting services). Some of our service providers store information on servers located overseas, including in the United States. We choose providers with appropriate security practices, and they may only use your information to provide services to us. We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first at [email protected] and we will investigate and respond. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Growing Gifted’s services grow. The “last updated” date above will always reflect the current version.
